Somewhere Over the DANEbow

My birth certificate says Dane Hansen, but more often than not I go by Danebow (@tastetheDANEbow on twitter) or Dansen. I attend Creighton Preparatory school with about one thousand other males. There are no females #thestruggle. It’s not too bad though. I study a lot and work to maintain that 4.0. I used to go to Lewis Central Middle School in Council Bluffs. Yes, I am from Iowa. No, I don’t own a farm. Try me with an Iowa joke if you want, I’ve heard them all before. I still don’t understand how Nebraskans can say that the only people that live in Iowa are farmers when Nebraska is just as rural as Iowa, but whatever. Listening to music that my parents don’t like is one of my favorite things to do. I always look forward to the drive to and from school because it is my jam out time. My favorite artists are G-Eazy, Hoodie Allen, Childish Gambino, Chiddy Bang, Mac miller, and Sammy Adams. It is extremely hard to restrain from downloading their songs illegally, but I do my best. I probably spend too much time on twitter and listening to music, but YOLO right (that YOLO thing is a joke).  The rest of my life is spent playing baseball. My passion for baseball seems to amuse my friends. I have been playing select baseball every summer since I was 7. I played for the Spikes for a few years then moved on to the River City Owls. During my first high school season I played on Coach Wellwood’s JV team. Baseball is always the best part of my summer. I love to watch college sports and the MLB. Rock chalk Jayhawk basketball. I cheer for the ‘skers during football season, even though football is a little barbaric for my taste. The Arizona Diamondbacks are my MLB team. I lived in Phoenix the year they won the World Series and I can’t seem to stop cheering for them. I am the most interesting man in the blogging world, and if you disagree I will fight you. 2. Dane I really enjoyed the blog! I totally know what you mean with the jamming out in the car considering I do a little bit of that myself. I also think it's pretty cool that you have such a strong passion for something, that's a thing to be proud of.

  3. Wow I didn't know we have such similar taste in music! although we don't share the same urges to obtain their music illegally!

  4. Wow, an Iowan and a Husker fan? Seems like a lose-lose situation, but love that you embrace it! I also love G-Eazy, Hoodie Allen, and Mac Miller!
